About the Parish

Mssion Statement

We, the members of St. Mary Magdalen Parish, a community of Christians, are committed:
· To understand and to live the good news as proclaimed by Jesus, and taught by the Catholic Church;
· To share this truth with our youth and with all who seek to find Christ in their life;
· To deepen and strengthen our spiritual life through the work of the Holy Spirit;
· To bring about God’s kingdom in ourselves and in our families and to help transmit that life in our community;
We work together to bring out this kingdom:
· By recognizing the loving presence and care of God in all creation, and by committing ourselves to share that same love and care towards others;
· By being joyful people of deep faith and great hope;
· By our reverence for all that is living and our commitment to preserving and improving our quality of life.
We strive to live these truths in every aspect of our lives and to celebrate and proclaim them regularly in our worship.

Nosotros miembros de la parroquia de Sta. Maria Magdalena, una comunidad de Cristianos, estamos comprometidos:

· A entender y vivir la buena noticia proclamada por Jesús y enseñado por la iglesia Católica;
· A compatír esta verdad con nuestra juventud y con todo lo que hacen por encontrar a Cristo en sus vidas;
· A profundizar y reforzar nuestra vida espiritual por medio de la obra del Espiritu Santo;
· A obetener el reino de Dios en nosotros mismos y en nuestras familias y ayudando a transmitir esa vida en nuestra comunidad.

Trabajamos juntos para obtener este reino:
· Reconociendo la presensia amorosa y cuidadosa de Dios en toda la creacíon y comprometiendonos nosotros mismos a compartír ese mismo amor y cuidado con los demás;
· Siendo un pueblo alegre de fe profunda y gran esperanza;
· Por nuestra reverencia por todo ser viviente y por nuestro compromiso a preservar y mejorar calidad de vida;

Tratamos de vivir estas verdades en todos los aspectos de nuestras vidas y celebrar y proclamarlas regularmente en nuestro rito de adoracion.
